Happy Easter!!

So my sister Heidi is moving to Missouri. I'm not too happy about it because she's doing it for her Facebook boyfriend. I can only hope he is good to her. She's had a run of crappy guys in her life. Granted, she isn't the easiest person to live with.
I hope I have time today to go say goodbye.

Back to Happy Easter! I bought some awesome chocolate online. I found these way good Milka eggs. Ian liked them a lot last time I bought them. The come with four to a carton and you eat them with a little spoon. They are milk chocolate with a while milk chocolate mousse inside. Way yummy!
We also got Ghirardelli mini eggs and Lindt mini bunnies. I forgot jelly beans. (I like the Starburst ones.) Oh well, chocolate is good enough, right? I also put a new book in our basket. We love new books!

I hope you all have a great Easter!

Curly

So I tried doing pin curls in my hair. I forgot that my naturally curly hair has a tendency to grab onto curls and run away with them! (Here are some pictures!)

So, as you can see with these 3 before pics, my hair is way super poofy and curly.
The curl is out of control!!! Luckily I still had the bajillion bobby pins sitting nearby  so I could tame it. See bottom pictures.

See, I can tame them a little. I don't think I'll try this again for a little while. And when/if I do I'll be doing larger sections of hair per curl.

As it was my loving and patient husband put in 25 bobby-pinned curls. He's awesome!

My Awesome Hair!

So I got my hair dyed today. I figured I needed to go back to something a little more normal looking. I started out with my very faded red with my blonde roots growing in. Now I have red with blonde highlights streaked throughout. It looks great! My hair stylist is a genius! I wasn't sure if she was going to be able to get me back to blonde or not, she did such an awesome job!

My hubby is out of town working with my step dad. So he wont get to see it til I go pick him up. I'm pretty sure he'll like it. I also get to show my parents at the same time. Triple score! :D

I'm trying to decide if I should continue to add blonde to my hair, let it grow out, or what...hmm. I also really like adding colors to it though. It's been a lot of fun to add more color to my life. Blonde seems so boring to me now.

We shall have to wait and see.

Goodbye February, Hello March!

Wow. Those 28 days flew past!

I had a great Birthday. I'm now 28. Still weird to think it. I don't feel that old. Hmm. Maybe I'll be used to it in time for my next birthday?
Ian got me 2 books. Cinder and its sequel Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. A lot of his family have already read the first book, but the second just came out on Feb. 5th. So I might be the first one to read it. (As soon as I finish what I'm reading now that is.)
I re-read the first book in the Wheel of Time series and will start the second after reading 2-3 other novels first. It took me three weeks to finish the first. They are long.
Speaking of the WOT books, I got to see my brother and his kids: Rand, Lan, and Nynaeve. Yes, I'm completely serious. He's a huge WOT fan. I got to go lunch with his family, my husband, my twin with his fiancee, my mom, and my grandma. We had five of us there with February birthdays, so it was convenient. :)
School is stressful this semester. I have big papers due in all three classes. It's ridiculous how many projects overlap. I think my husband is extremely patient to deal with this big stress ball! That's also why my blogs have been slacking of late. (I was doing so well too!)

I'm looking forward to March. Mostly I'm looking forward to warmer weather! Spring break is the week after next. It will be nice to have a small break from the regular hum drum of school life. You know, I think I'm finally getting tire of being a college student. I love learning, but I'm so tired of writing papers and taking tests.
Not too much longer though and I'll be done with my second bachelor's degree. Then I can be done!
We're going to be moving down to the Ogden area (probably not directly in Ogden) this summer. I'm getting anxious about the move and finding a new place to live. I just hope we find something good. Well, enough for tonight. Oops, looks like I started out on the 1st and ended on the second. Oh well.
